I am currently in the same situation as you - my cat is put on CD for 4 years and never returned the glass, but I feel very bad that feeding poor quality food - just today, I found I Uretic Wysong feline nutrition retention food for the animals - which are bound to the same CD, but has more nutritional value - I'll call my vet and ask about the change (although I'm sure that will help promote the CD, since $ $ to make of it)

I think I just tried a raw or organic brands of cat food, which is the same as you C / d. Can you re-feed the person and see if he / she knows of some cat food then?
My parents have a cat in the C / D, and had no problems with the glass since the beginning of it (for the years eaten). Thus, although not as good as we used to do it at least, what they do.
