Can Gerd cause upper back pain and muscle spasms? - upper back muscle spasm
Doc the other day I was complaing of upper back pain and cramps, and he told me it was Gerd (acid reflux). Never ever heard of such symptoms. Has anyone ever been with GERD symptoms like this? I think, get a second opinion. I have reflux problems, but never with muscle cramps.

I am the same, it hurts right above my sternum and go all the way up my back between the shoulder blades. I have reflux and sliding hiatus hernia and a very serious blow today. I'm so bad at one point, I think I'll have a heart attack.
